So, time to attack this problem (and solve it).  I have an incredibly 
busy schedule, today.  David, as you seem to know quite well this code, 
could you look at identifying and solving the performance regression? 
(I am sure that Eclipse is not the sole benchmark that is hit by 
performance regression).

I want a February release, tomorrow actually, if possible.  But, we need 
to fix the important performance regression, first.

I have no intention to synchronize our releases with Classpath releases. 
    When Classpath 0.14 will come out, we'll import it into staging, as 
usual.  We had decided for monthly releases, and we're already quite 
late this month; I see no excuse to delay it further.
