yes of course i looked at the above site (what i mentionned). but there
it's only written to download the binary version of eclipse. but it
doesn't officially exist for ppc. and the ibm-java compiled doesn't
really work for me.

like i mentionned in my mail, i tried this script without luck.

yepp, the binaries i tried were 3.1M1.

i take a look at it. 

is there really anybody who uses eclipse on java ppc with sablevm?
because there are a lot of nice hints, but no success notices. i have to
use eclipse productive and haven't a lot of time to find new ways. if
not, did you manage successfully to run it with the ibm-sdk? then i will
try this.
