And XD2 plugin  does support almost everything found 
in  current hibernate mappings. 
( though this is difficult because of fast pace of DTD
changes ) 

And I would like to remember again that active XD1
commiters are welcome  to XD2 plugins ( since ever )

We could use some more manpower.
