Yeah, but Double.parseString() used to get the version number (and nowhere 
else) seems to be only in Java 1.2+.

Will do...  I am really excited about this as the "port" to evm on Zaurus is a 
lot simpler than a port to a native Palm binary.  (and I don't have to hack 
anything for networking)
