Please answer this as soon as possible.  Otherwise we'll probably lose Emile
- he has deadlines.  All he wants is a few answers so he can fix things.

Demos. I need the demos. I need the demos working. What can I do to get
there?!

The shoehorn is broken, which means that IE/Windows is the *only*
browser that can now succesfully launch XWT apps. My options to fix this
include:

a) setting up a private launcher that launches an older shoehorn when
asked for 'stable' in the hopes of finding a build that works. The
default launcher can't do this since older shoehorns provide
org.xwt.Shoehorn, and newer ones org.xwt.shoehorn.Shoehorn. I will
probably do this anyway. Pretty damn frustrating to have this linger
for, what, months?

b) Fixing the shoehorn. Bzzzt! The shoehorn is not in CVS (I would love
to be proved wrong on this -- it ought to be there, as XWT is not
complete without it), and I can't re-sign the binaries anyways.

Either leaves me with a broken xml-rpc server, so I cannot run these
from behind the company firewall. Which makes the demos useless for me.

What I will probably do is set up a intranet deployment and attempt to
get the xmlrpc server running locally. But about 15 minutes after I
would give a demo, curious collegues would hit the XWT site and find the
demos broken, and mailinglist archives complaining about lack of
fixability.

To make a long story short, Adam: *let us help you*. I'm not demanding
you dive in and fix all my problems, just tell us what needs to get done,
and we might just fix it. If even that is impossible, *tell us*, and
I'll reschudule my refactoring plans for next year or whatnot. As it
stands, Moz not working is a showstopper for me, and that would mean
either going with DHTML (blech) or XUL. And I would *strongly* prefer
to have my app work across browsers.
