Well, if we go for full monopoly behaviour to start with, that will contain
a lot of the behaviour we need. Then we take MacOS or Gtk, and where the
behaviour differs, we refactor the core widgets such that it copes with both
monopoly and MacOS. Once a few themes are done, you'll have 99.99% of the
behaviour you'll ever need encapsulated in there.

Sure, it's iterative and you may have to take some things apart a few times,
but it's producing early results.
