I've posted a sample at

does look funny here, but then, I probably don't have the correct fonts 
installed. I have a Russian windows at work (I think), so I'll test that 
tomorrow too.

When it loads, BTW, it halts at 'Downloading 84%' for roughly 10 
seconds. What is is doing at that point? The demo xwar doesn't do this, 
but my app isn't running at that point yet (right?) so what could I be 
doing to cause this?
