I would agree.

I also like the fact that it's version number (0.26 at the moment, I
believe) is a reflection of the current status of subversion.  I mean,
the various arch implementations all are 1.0 or higher, and they are
_not_ on the same level of subversion-0.26.

Subversion-1.0 will be a high quality piece of software.  It's been
self-hosting for a long time now (upwards of a year, I believe) which
demonstrates that it's at least well tested as a repository.

A slight downside is that you need to have close versions of the client
and server.  eg the 0.22 client did not work with the 0.24 server.  But
that's not a biggie.

Anyway... my opinion is mainly based on heresay and observation, not
through actual use.  Make your own mind up.
