Okay, although I'm thinking that the license should be in a LICENSE
file, which is directed to by COPYING.  This way, we can put what we
like in COPYING without confusing the license.

Also, we should start looking at automatically generating some stuff
like (perhaps) some of AUTHORS, COMMITS, and CHANGELOG?
