XUL Challenge 2004

I am the official Ibex representative for the XUL Challenge 2004:

Starting April 12th, over 4 weeks I've got to create:
* a counter (like an abacus?)
* a nice calculator
* a custom project

Please send any ideas you might have on implementation methods or ideas
for the custom project.

Given the time scale, by the time I've finished our entry:
* the widgets will be in beta (soft api freeze with most widgets done)
* the core.ibex.org should be running nicely and, if not, I'll have
  an optimised version of the non-simplex core ready

I'm also hoping to have ready:
* some tutorials for ibex
* a temporary ibex homepage (ibex.org is currently a content mess)
