some of the reasoning for the difference, in the first place what you can do 
is plasma is not what you can do in qtstyle, they are very difrent in nature.


also the way they are meant to be used is very very different wille plasmoids 
are things of occasional use the qt apps are to be used possibly for several 
hours. (you would not do a word processor in plasma would you? on the other 
end a litle internet tictactoe game might be more interesting in plasma than 
in a regular window)

I gess that if we wanted plasma to look like the qt apps we would not need 
plasma would we?
