Yes, we won the war which Iraq started some years ago, so now the US 
now has legal possession of the whole country.

No, they would have to get Congressional approval to do that which is 
very unlikely.

I mean the US of which I am a citizen.  It is a democracy so I use the 
word we to describe my country.

Have you stopped beating your wife?  I don't think that the Iraqi 
people will be robbed by the US although they were most certainly 
robbed by Saddam's regime.

But, we will both benefit from an expanded world oil supply.

No, I don't.  I don't think that it would be a good investment.

It is your loss that you do not take pride in your country.  I do not 
look at it as taking responsibility for what the Bush Administration 
does; I look at it as taking pride in what the Bush Administration has 
accomplished.  He will never accomplish as much as Ronald Reagen did, 
but every country that goes from the totalitarian side of the ledger 
to the republican/democratic side is an improvement in the world.
