How to drain batteries + How to transcode MJPEG->DIVX?

Going to a concert tonight, want to load the batteries for my camera, except
there's a tiny problem: they're not empty. In fact, I've been playing video
for half an hour now and it's simply not running out of steam.

What to do? If I can't decharge these soon enough, I won't have time to
charge them fully. I know the current charge won't be enough to register
enough of the concert (Nerf Herder) either.

Damn 2000mAh batteries!

I really should do more video with this one.. for a still camera, 640x480
at 30fps is still pretty good. Hence the second question: has anyone ever
successfully converted MJPEG to DIVX? Whatever I do in transcode, I have a
problem getting the sound to work properly. And 100M for a few minutes of
video is just not really Internet friendly.
