I'll agree they aren't better, indeed, many are FAR WORSE. I know because I deal with people like this and they aren't always easy to get along with. But, that doesn't mean I think they should bankroll the government for me. Steve Forbes flat tax was in many ways a brilliant idea! First, it kept things simple, but also it doesn't discriminate. The more taxes try to clamp down on the weathy to "redistribute the wealth," the more the wealthy resort to shady ways to hide their money. The IRS is not going to get it all, and rightly so, so why make it require criminal conduct on their part to keep it? Down with unfair taxes! Down with the estate tax (double taxing everyone, as the saying goes, death should not be a taxable event)!
