It is not a poll about the use of window managers in the world, it is a poll on the use of Windowmanagers among Linux/BSD-users in The Netherlands. Nedlinux members are mostly studenst/system administrators who do most of their work using the command line. (if i give a KDE-solution to a problem on nedlinux, this usually leads to a flame...) The fact that 1 out of two Nedlinuxers uses KDE as graphical environment came as a suprice to me. Last time the poll was held, KDE was also number one, but closely followed by Gnome and other window managers/desktop environments.
