  I do think he had at least one admirable remark: his longterm dedication to 
Iraq. What is overlooked in these commentaries is that it would be dangerous 
to leave Iraq now. Before a powerful -- and to use one of your favorite words 
- -- facist government ruled Iraq keeping things focused on the national 
interest. Leaving now would give the country over to radical extremists and 
create a government probably like that of Iran or worse. 

   Whether you agree with the war or not, I think we've already opened the 
Pandora's box, as it were. I don't think we can just leave now and somehow 
magically fix things. If we leave a generation or more will be angry at us 
for attacking their country with the promise of fixing things and then giving 
up without even trying to fix things.

  Personally, if he could ever make it to the primaries, I'd throw the whole 
system for a loop and vote for Alan Keyes. :-)
