I came accross this add from someone looking for consulting help
in deploying linux. I'm interested in your take on his questions -
I think the number of businesses wanting something like this is really
about to take off, but I'm not sure the distros are ready. Thoughts?

-Which current Linux distribution (Redhat, Fedora, SUSE, Debian, etc)
to base ours on?
-Which desktop environment (KDE, Gnome) to use?
-Which office software to use (OpenOffice, Gnome apps, KDE Apps,
MS Office on WINE)?
-What to replace Outlook with?
-The best way to have user's computers handle backing up and restoring
automatically.
-Security issues. What are they? How do we deal with them?
-The best (most efficient, cheapest) way to remotely administer users'
systems (all of our users are remote, i.e. not in the same office)?
-What technologies are out there that we don't know about that can
make this project more successful?
-The best technologies for doing custom development (automation tasks
via scripting as well as GUI app development).
