Perhaps my choice of words did not translate well: that is not what I am talking about.
My question is why KDE has the Fedora binaries in the RedHat directory but does not also
have the 'KDE for Red Hat Linux' binaries available on the KDE sites.

And what does that have to do with anything?  Perhaps you don't understand what the 'KDE
for Red Hat Linux' project is.  It is an independent effort to provide REAL KDE for RedHat
-- it has NO connection with RedHat (the company).

Fedora *is* the broken RedHat system.  I don't think that there is any intent to change
it, because it must remain compatible with RedHat.
