Gee. I did not know it was that serious. I heard about such problems before, but though it was possible to compensate by having a traditional (old bump) lamp in close to the TV; one that do not flick as the tv. And the ray thing doesn't sound so healthy. One of my friends dad once had this strange problem getting different kinds of allergic reactions sitting at his computer (which he did a lot). The doctor was skeptical, but the man got him self a LCD display, and the problems went away. That was back in early 90's.'s so it was costly. Anyway... Now that I got a new PC (upgrading to a shiny P4-2,6Ghz/512mb ram from an old Celeron, which I originally bought to serve a a Linux toy and mail server), a TFT Display is one the very top of my wish list for the new year. :-) Happy new year! :-) Kde-cafe mailing list - [email protected] http://ofb.biz/lists/listinfo.cgi/kde-cafe DISCLAIMER: The views expressed on this mailinglist are the personal opinions of the author and do not represent OfB.biz: Open for Business, KDE or the author's employer.
