I was just thinking about this project and it occurred to me that it would be great to have an automated way to do the builds and, of course, I started thinking about Fink. And then I thought (with associated thought bubble … ) "Could Qt/Mac be integrated into Fink?" and I couldn't think of a good reason why not (not that I know Fink, or the Qt/Mac build process _that_ well ;) The binaries could be listed on Fink and installed in /sw (since they are OSX bundles and can be installed anywhere)… the source is more of a mystery to me though… is there any reason why not?
