Well, you should just need to apply the admin patch (or untar the 
kde-admindir tarball from http://kde.opendarwin.org/) assuming it's like 
all other KDE apps.

That I couldn't say...  If it had a proper kde admindir it should do

Is /opt/kde/bin in your path?  Have you tried using the "configure-kde" 
script that comes in kdemactools?  It should be in /opt/kde/bin as well.
