I got the admin directory properly installed--wasn't sure what my error
was before--but the makefile.common process dies with this output:

Can't locate object method "path" via package "Request" at
/opt/kde/share/autoconf/Autom4te/C4che.pm line 69, <GEN1> line 111.
aclocal-1.8: /opt/kde/bin/autom4te-2.59 failed with exit status: 1
make: *** [cvs] Error 1

Running configure-kde actually runs the makefile.common process as
well, and it dies with the same output--but then it runs the
./configure script that's already there--and I get the same message
that I don't have kdelibs installed (I assume this is because the new
makefile hasn't been successfully generated).

I have autoconf 2.59. I can't tell what version of automake, but my
path points to the one installed in /opt/kde/bin, so I'm assuming it's
correct.
