Well the reason the patches still aren't in really has nothing to do with KDE, 
we have simply been busy and never got around to putting them in.  The admin 
patch I think is the only one that has been put in lately.  The simplest 
approach is to to one module and then go through it one app at a time 
cleaning up the patch and submitting it to the author.  It is just a bit of 
work, no conspearicy here.
