Hmm not very much inviting would rephrase that to:
"This CD contains programs that are currently in a beta
testing state, and are not ready for production use. In
particular, when you want to install the Live-CD onto your
harddisk you have the possibilty it can corrupt your data."
This sounds less scary imo. Though still bad thing to happen to you :)
