Yes, it's really not bad.
But it's hosted on the kde wiki pages. I never visited this site before, and I 
guess that's true for many other people. An own homepage will get more 
publicity.
And we need a mailinglist where we can gather all the people working on stuff 
like this. I will contact them via direct email as soon as we have one.

I understand what you mean, but I think we should consider this open for all 
cross-toolkit projects (even if there are currently no others). I'll even 
write an invitation email to the gtk/gnome development mailing lists.

But it would be a good thing if there was something.
I guess most people working on such stuff have similar issues to solve.

Not a similar effort, but joining our effort. This is made easier for them by 
not using "KDE" or "Qt" in the title.
