I was very silent on this list recently because I am heavily involved
in organizing aKademy.

I had intended to plan to kalyxo (just as to kde-accessibility,
kde-quality, kde-doc, kde-translation, kde-artist and other teams)
to specifically invite them to come and set up and organize their
own sub-events their (presumably during Hackfest/Coding Marathon,
23rd - 27th). You are free to organize 1 hour, 5 hrs, 1 day or
2 days of get-together, discussions, meeting, workshop, BoF or
whatever you like.

Just someone of you take the initiative. Discuss your plans here
or on IRC, and tell me what you need ("one room with internet
connectivity for Wednesday afternoon 13:00 -- 16:00 h or whatever...)

Please discuss also how you will respond to the two Calls for
Papers (1 for the Developers' and Contributors' Conference, weekend
21st/22nd -- 1 for the User and Administrator Conference, weekend
28th/29th...). CfPs will be out soon....

I hope to meet many of you there!

Accomodation with breakfeast will be ~ 20.- EURO per night. Maybe we
will get one or more "sponored dinners" in the evenings.

It is an extremely good idea for KDE contributors from the different
countries and sub-projects to seek sponsors for their travel and
other costs locally. I am sure there are good chances to succeed if
you put some effort into it. Do you know a company which is using KDE?
Do you know a company which is sympathetic to KDE or Free Software in
general? Maybe your own employer would sponsor you to go their? Do you
think that your employing company would find it useful to send you to
one of the tutorials (preliminary program will be out soon)?

If you don't come, everybody will be telling you afterwards how
great it was ;-)
