Hello, I have written 5 bash scripts which implement play, pause, resume andd stop reading any text selected with the cursor. The programs used are MPV player, xclip, socat and espeak-ng. Can I post to this list the scripts and additional comments (in a text file) t? The scripts work pretty well with keyboard shortcuts, but I would like to get feedback. I would also like help or suggestions implementing a more human sounding voice using Piper. Piper is not available on any opensuse repository and I was not yet successfull implementing it. Some people have suggested using Orca, but I have tried and tried to get this specific functionality with Orca and repeatedly failed. And these scripts are much, much simpler than using orca since I am visually impaired but not blind and I do not need a screen reader. Ultimately, what I would like to do is post this Jovie replacement somewhere where it can help other KDE users. Maybe this list is not the best place for my current request, but I could not find a better place. Thanks in advance, Gustav.
