The albums are on an external hard disk (of course plugged in and mounted when
I'm trying all this). Not sure if it's relevant, they are sub-albums of each
other:

Album with image 1
 |
  --- Album with image 2
       |
        --- Album with image 3
 |
Other albums

Except for the three example images, there are a number of other duplicates
(similar byte-identical files, same sub-album structure). None of which are
found with the find duplicates tool.

Also not sure if it's relevant, but the original digikam4.db file is from a
long time ago (probably more than 5 years past). It is from a recently restored
archive of some of my old photos.
