After more than 10 years, this is still not solved, right?

Can some of the developers maybe weigh in?

I've created quite an elaborate exporter that creates a qif-file from my bank
statements including a statement balance, but it's ignored.

This would be useful, and a superficial analysis by LLM suggests the patch here
would still work!
