I have been maintaining a Bikram Sambat calendar plasmoid for KDE Plasma:
https://store.kde.org/p/2303034
I'd be interested in helping add Bikram Sambat support to KDE's Alternate
Calendar framework.
One thing to note is that Bikram Sambat is generally data-driven rather than
purely mathematical. Month lengths vary between years, and official calendar
data is only available for a limited range. My current implementation supports
dates up to 2100 BS (≈ 2043/2044 AD) using published calendar tables; beyond
that, additional official data would need to be incorporated.

If KDE is open to this approach, I'd be happy to help with an upstream
implementation.
