At this point, if the maintainers need further information, they'll ask.
Please keep the discussion in this bug report about the bug itself. Triaging
discussions should happen in Matrix so they're public.


It looks like this was fixed in Dolphin 26.04.3. Markiplier, can you re-test
when that version reaches your system? If you still see the bug, set this back
to reported. If it's fixed, feel free to close as resolved / fixed.

When I attempt to reproduce, I see a pop up

Information - Dolphin
Could not create "mtp:/path/filename?.mp3"
The destination filesystem (MTP) disallows the following characters in file
names: <>:"/\|?*
Selecting Replace will replace any invalid characters (in the destination file
name) with an underscore "_".

If I click Replace, that's exactly what happens.
