Cygwin-g++-win32 build target status

Hi! I'm curious about the status of the cygwin-g++-win32 target. Using it  
in conjunction with the KDELibs/Win32 project, the potential for a native  
KDE with cygwin style paths just jumps out of the screen at me. I searched  
the list archives for this subject for a few while, and decided it would  
probably be better to just ask.
