Yes and no. Yes because it seems to mostly do the job of configuring network interfaces. No because it depends on Gnome System Tools-Network, a convoluted and huge perl file that tries to do everything for every distribution. I think is preferable to have a smaller network tool but more dedicated to Debian (like Red Hat, Mandrake, Suse and others have) where we can quickly make any changes we want than a huge program that depends on some external tools.
