feature request----

Dear Kate,

I have a couple of feature requests- the first pretty trivial, the second not 
so.

1) could you indicate the line number where the cursor is (as at present) and 
the line number of (say the central) line displayed- this would make it 
easier to navigate the document with the scroll bar.  An example of when this 
would be useful would be when you are trying to find line 2350 where there is 
a compiler error.

2) provide a vi / ed command line at the bottom of the pane - tough I know.
