KDevelop is more suited to this function, and as of CVS HEAD, KDevelop  
(gideon) includes this functionality in multiple programming languages. 
 
Alternatively use Ctrl+F and the start of the program name (eg. ::print), 
after using it a bit the find dialog will have a list of your most frequently 
used searches.
