po and pot files

Hi all,
I have po files and pot files with some changes. In project settings I select 
dirs for po and pot files. In the Catalog manager I get red X for new files 
in pot dir, and red circle with red V for missing files in pot dir. When I 
translate string in these files marked with red X and save files they were 
copied in the po dir. But I can't undestand how to find files in which have 
changes in the strings between po and pot dir.
