See this: https://invent.kde.org/plasma/plasma-workspace/-/issues/64 The supported way of mounting shares is through Dolphin. Unfortunately, nfs:// lacks support in Gears 6, see https://discuss.kde.org/t/help-needed-with-nfs-shares-in-dolphin/12909 With that said, I can see how adding the ability to use labels on these kinds of entries in Places.
