unable to collaps splitter in kmreaderwin

Hi,
In the svn log I read that this is done because of unexperienced users. My 
question is why an unexperienced user wants to know of which parts a mail 
consists. Saving attachments can be done from a menu.
Sorry to say, but I find the current solution an ugly one. I, as an 
experienced user, am not interested in this at all. But my kmail window is 
always cluttered by this now.
Can't this be undone?
