I've just looked at it and it appears there is no saving code at all. I don't 
have experience but as you say it would be really nice if it gets fixed. I'll 
look more at it, but if someone with more experience wants to work on it, then 
please reply here and i'll gladly step aside.

I don't promise that me looking at it will produce anything. So any expert out 
there really should step up.
