To partially answer my own question, the log file is 
/var/log/kolab/pykolab.log and the login levels can be adjusted in 
/etc/sysconfig/wallace. The logs I'm looking for are the SMTP logs, like 
the communications between the local server and the remote server like 
giving the 250 accept mail etc. Wallace take my mail, but what does it 
do with it?
