Hi How does kmail determine that an email needs to be downloaded from your ISP? It doesn't mark the emails on the ISP as read after downloading them. I've got a situation where most days, it downloads emails as duplicates from up to 2/3 weeks ago and they show as unread. I can then mark them all as read and remove duplicates via the menu options, I also end up with a lot of ghost emails in the threads which are generally the duplicated ones which you cannot remove. I have tried creating a new user but the same things happen. The downloading of duplicate emails also occasionally happens on my personal account on a different login but i can remove them and i don't end up with ghost emails (well, not as yet). For the last 2/3 weeks or so I have been getting "PIM Migration complete" messages almost on every start up. Any ideas how i can repair things short of reinstalling the whole OS. regards Ian -- openSUSE Tumbleweed 20240923 kwin 6.1.5 kmail2 6.2.1 (24.08.1) - akonadiserver 6.2.1 (24.08.1) - Kernel: 6.10.11-1- default - kernel-firmware-radeon 20240913
