It is a relief to find out I am not going nuts! Happened to me too recently. Somehow I managed to get a bunch of keystrokes sent to my computer, with the Ctrl key pressed. The worst consequence was that Quanta lost it's menu and it took me a while to Google the solution. It confused me because a) I didn't know Quanta could do this, and b) I'm not aware of other applications that have this feature, so I didn't think of it. I can (maybe?) understand having the feature (to maximize screen real-estate?), but doubt it's utility for most users. I think it would be best to leave that key binding off / disabled by default. This is an appeal to Andras since it is not an option that you can manipulate in the 'Settings' - > 'Configure Actions' menu.
