fast way to search in a displayed album?

Hello,

Is there a fast way to search for the beginning of image names in this 
album, when it's displayed?

I know I can enter the first character of an image name to jump to the 
first image that begins with this char (except for those, like "t", that 
do something else).

This is already quite helpful, but:
let's say I type e and actually want to find the first "eva*"
but have many elise, ella, emily, emma...; with e it will jump to the 
first elise and from there I still have to scroll...

I know there is a search function, but that is too much for what I 
actually need.

Is there a trick how I can fast search in the actual album, entering 
more than 1 character, like "ev" or "emi"...?
