Hi Gilles, Thanks! > Don't forget to turn on the right metadata options to register date > and GPS to exif, else only the database will be patched (the default): > https://docs.digikam.org/en/setup_application/metadata_settings.html#behavior-settings So, while I was trying to figure this out myself, I also found this doc page. And it seems to me that enabling this setting is global for all of DK across all collections. This seems dangerous to me because I only want to have DK edit specific images. I do not want it to touch my photos in general. Some years back (maybe 10+ years), I had a problem with DK accidentally adding metadata to all my photos (I think it was tags that got added) and it was a work to clean up manually. Is there no way to keep the global setting of not having DK touch metadata except for specific photos?
