Hi Charlie,

with dates I had a similar problem to yours, and I reported it:

My problem is not the same as the one reported in Reddit, though, since
individual pictures still all have their date, and I can sort them by
date. It it the selection/ filtering by date via the "Dates" pane,
which does not work for me.

I have two solutions:

a) use the AppImage instead of using the distribution package
b) rebuilding the database (going through XMP Sidecar export & import)
- this at least worked for a part of my collection
