Replying to questions, comments, and concerns, certainly. Replying to
requests for status information sent to all publicly available info-*
addresses from someone unknown to some (maybe many?) of us -- can you
see why that gives a little pause?

Anyways, perhaps I should have known Andrei ahead of time, but I've
mostly migrated my time over to the sysadmin team, as they're far more
overtaxed than promo/marketing at this point.

Anyways, no harm no foul, but next time I would suggest something like
"please include [email protected] in your reply". Turns it from being a
single person that is possibly unknown by the recipient (regardless of
who the sender is, not specifically Andrei) requesting information to
knowing that your reply is going to be received by an official KDE
mailing list, and thus feels much more legit.
