Yep, fair enough. For major releases we can do the three announcements. For 
maintenance releases it's overkill. However, there are options:

- KDE releases first update for 4.5 software*
- First updates for KDE's 4.5 releases*
= KDE releases 4.5.1 product set
- KDE releases 4.5.1 product updates
- Other variations...

* for these 4.5.2 -> second update etc etc
= is my personal preference out of those

Compared to 

- KDE Software Compilation 4.5.1 Released

Well, they're no longer are they?

Since I expect someone to say that it's just changing words - well, yes it is 
- but at least 'product set' or 'releases' reflect that there is more than one 
thing that KDE produces.

So let's choose how we're going to do this (both major and minor releases) 
particularly in the www announcements and to a lesser extent for the Dot, 
document it and then stick to it.

Probably the best thing is for a group of us to get together on IRC and work 
this out otherwise we can go on with this mailing list discussion for ever.
