Re: Branding again...

Here's an idea:

If we want to get the branding message across clearly, I think it will need
a lot of repeating, at the risk of a little extra length and being
potentially boring.  So in your suggested boilerplate text, I'd add
something like what I've done below (lifted almost directly from
http://community.kde.org/Promo/Branding/Map and the developer page linked
below). This text could then be appended to pretty much every announcement,
and even if it's a little annoying, it would clarify the branding message
we're aiming for.

(ps. I have a reference to "compilation" in there - I don't like it, but I
have it in there since some people absorbed a message somewhere that "KDE
does software compilations" and might be confused if the word doesn't even
appear anywhere...)

easy multimedia API, and much more.  Offering more than just simple widgets
and basic tools such as filedialogs, toolbars, system-wide spell check and
more, the KDE platform allows applications to behave more like users expect
them to, all while spending less developer time tweaking individual
