The individual apps do of course have different version numbers, so I try to 
shy away from talking about KDE Applications 4.5 etc (for example, the current 
Dolphin is 1.5). I guess it's not practical now (due to how we called it 
already) but really we could talk about Plasma Desktop 1.5 too, if you assume 
the version in SC 4.0 was Plasma Desktop 1.0.

Other than 'SC' (which we're trying to avoid anyway) no. I see PMC used quite 
a lot for Plasma Media Center. I'd rather we spell out the names fully in 
official communications, others may disagree. I don't find Plasma Desktop or 
Plasma Netbook difficult to write or read (they are clumsy if we use the prefix 
'KDE' all the time, but then so is 'Microsoft Windows 7' as opposed to just 
'Windows 7')
