Friends! I see you all have been working like good busy bees on the many things KDE promo had in stock for you lately. What I miss was the pleasure part which really should have been there: I noticed no disussion or talk about a KDE marketing meeting AT ALL. As it's November again, it should've been about now I'd say ;-) I know, I know, busy busy. But think about it, ladies and gents. The meetings are very productive, fun, and good team building. And I know KDE e.V. has plenty of funding and is more than willing to help out! Second thing I'm also missing a bit: the big even-release is coming - 4.6! Time for a feature guide, right? Time to start taking note of the features which are to be selected as main features and all the other ones which need to be described, screenshotted etc etc etc. It is a lot of work so you should start early... ;-) Let me be honest here and admit that a good feature guide will help us write the openSUSE 11.4 announcement (which, after all, ships kde's apps in 4.6.x form). Still, a good splash for you is good for a (if not the) major distro shipping KDE apps, right? We unfortunately won't be able to ship GNOME 3.x due to timing of our release so what you guys provide will have to be sexy enough to attract the users :D Cheers, Jos _______________________________________________ This message is from the kde-promo mailing list.
